ASHIC is working for creating awareness in order to increase/improve the Survival Rate of Cancer Children in Bangladesh. Previously ASHIC used to publish Newsletter and tell the country about Childhood Cancer and how it’s work being done.The Newsletter is temporarily out of print from 2002 due to funding problem.
ASHIC observes the following days and other important days every year as awareness.
- World Cancer Day (WCD) (4th February)
- International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) (15th February)
- Survivor Day (6th June)
Children Day (15thAugust)s
Palliative Care and Hospice Day (2nd Sunday of October)
Over the years, our programs have included peaceful processions, press conferences, programs for the children and many more. You can either participate in our planned activities or plan to create your own awareness program in your community/neighborhood. Just let us know what you did and what impact you created and we will try to highlight your work on our website and on our Facebook page.
