Maheen Hamid

DIRECTOR – INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Maheen Hamid is the  Director of International Relations, and is on the Board of Trustees.  Deeply affected by the loss of her brother, she started helping out with the foundation from a very young age, with a profound desire to help improve the chances for the disadvantaged children in Bangladesh. She plays an important role in setting up the strategic direction for the foundation, including its fundraising and marketing initiatives.  She has also helped design many of its programs.

Professionally,  Maheen Hamid is the co-founder and CFO at Breker Verification Systems, a cutting edge high-tech company based in Silicon Valley, USA,along -with her husband Adnan Hamid. Breker is a growing force in the American Electronic Design Automation Industry. Prior to Breker, she served in various firms in the field of investment banking and management consulting.  Maheen is a regular contributor to business journals and forums, covering a broad range of topics related to small business management.

Maheen holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from North South University, Bangladesh.  You can reach her at [email protected] or on linked in.
