We believe in the importance of holistic care for the child under treatment and their families, especially their primary caregivers. We target the child's spiritual well-being through play therapy and entertainment.

ASHIC Patient Services

Designed to bring joy for the child in any way possible, ASHIC seeks personal sponsors for food and medicine, birthday celebrations and fulfilling the child’s last wishes where possible. This is one of our oldest programs

The weekly counseling session provides emotional support for the cancer affected children, their distressed parents and their families. They are encouraged to interact with each other and the presiding doctor who moderates discussions.

ASHIC Outing Program

The Outing Program helps children to forget their pain and simply enjoy being a normal child again. The sick children and their families are taken to an amusement park for an afternoon, to provide temporary reprieve from stressful treatment

ASHIC Play Center

ASHIC provides all the toys, play materials, and employs a play companion to monitor the children during operation hours. Many of the children have never had any toys and the enthusiasm with which they embrace the Play Center is truly heart-warming.
